Namib Laboratories

Namib Laboratories is a privately owned analytical laboratory and a division of Feedmaster Namibia (part of the Namib Mills Industries Group). Established in 2018, it specialises in high-quality diagnostic and testing services for the veterinary, agricultural, food, and environmental sectors in Namibia.

The laboratory offers a comprehensive range of testing services, including veterinary diagnostics, microbiological and serological testing, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests, animal feed and food testing, environmental monitoring, and efficacy testing of disinfecting products. It also provides specialised services such as Salmonella serotyping and tracing, as well as hygiene and food handler testing for factories and food processing facilities.

Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and ISO 17025:2017 accredited methods (by SADCAS), Namib Laboratories delivers accurate, reliable, and confidential results. The facility supports clients in making informed decisions for animal health, food safety, environmental compliance, and public health protection.

In addition to routine testing, the lab offers custom or special test requests and works closely with industries such as agriculture, mining, food production, and veterinary practices. It plays a key role in supporting Namibia’s food security and export standards through rigorous quality testing.
