Namib Mills

Feeding The Nation

Namib Mills is a proudly Namibian company established in 1982 that has grown from a small maize milling operation into one of the country’s leading suppliers of staple foods. It plays a central role in Namibia’s food security by processing and distributing high-quality maize meal, wheat flour, and related products across the nation.

The company offers a wide range of food production and milling services, including maize milling (such as Top Score Instant Maize Porridge), wheat milling, rice and sugar packing, pasta production, and mahangu milling. It also operates in animal feed production through its Feedmaster division and poultry processing via Namib Poultry Industries.

As part of the larger Namib Mills Group of Companies, it encompasses several subsidiaries and divisions, including Bakpro (bakery products), RealGood (training and SME development), Namib Laboratories, and plastic extrusion operations. This integrated structure allows the group to control much of the value chain from raw materials to finished consumer products.

Namib Mills places strong emphasis on quality, transparency, customer service, and social responsibility. It invests significantly in infrastructure, technology, and people development, creating thousands of jobs and supporting small and medium enterprises through training programmes in baking and food preparation.

The company operates milling facilities in Windhoek and Otavi, along with a nationwide network of strategically located depots for efficient distribution. It has expanded operations into South Africa (e.g., Gordonia Mills) while remaining deeply committed to uplifting the Namibian economy and communities.

Through continuous innovation, sustainable practices, and a focus on feeding the nation, Namib Mills has become a cornerstone of Namibia’s agro-processing and food manufacturing sector, delivering essential products that support households, businesses, and the broader economy.
