Namibia Oil & Gas Conference (NOGC 2026)
The Namibia Oil & Gas Conference (NOGC 2026) has emerged as Namibia’s premier platform for advancing the country’s rapidly developing oil and gas sector. Following major offshore discoveries that have placed Namibia among Africa’s most exciting new energy frontiers, the conference brings together policymakers, international investors, operators, service providers, and local stakeholders to shape the next phase of development. The fourth edition will take place from 18 to 21 August 2026 at the Mercure Hotel in Windhoek, building on the momentum of previous sold-out gatherings and marking a clear shift from exploration-focused dialogue to concrete action and implementation.
Under the theme “From Decision to Dividend: Making Namibia’s Oil Work for Namibians,” NOGC 2026 places strong emphasis on ensuring that hydrocarbon resources deliver lasting national value. Hosted by the Economic Association of Namibia in partnership with the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) and the Hanns Seidel Foundation, with strategic support from NAMCOR and endorsement from the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the event will feature a high-level strategic conference, an expanded exhibition, technical sessions, pre-conference masterclasses, local content pitching opportunities, supplier workshops, and dedicated youth-focused programming. It is designed to align policy, attract investment, strengthen local participation, and accelerate skills development across the value chain.
By convening decision-makers at this pivotal moment, NOGC 2026 aims to translate Namibia’s resource potential into tangible socio-economic benefits — including job creation, local supplier growth, technology transfer, and sustainable development pathways. The conference will address regulatory frameworks, financing models, transparency, environmental stewardship, and inclusive participation, helping position Namibia as a responsible and competitive player in the global energy landscape while ensuring its citizens are the primary beneficiaries of the sector’s growth. As the country moves closer to first oil, this gathering serves as an essential catalyst for collaboration and long-term national prosperity.
