FlyNamibia

We rise by lifting others

FlyNamibia is Namibia’s first privately owned scheduled passenger airline. It is a proudly Namibian carrier that operates domestic and selected regional flights, with its main base at Eros Airport in Windhoek.

The airline is part of the Westair Aviation group, which has been active in Namibian aviation since 1967 and is the country’s largest aviation company. Scheduled passenger services began in 2019 under the FlyWestair brand and were rebranded as FlyNamibia in November 2021.

FlyNamibia operates flights connecting Windhoek with key destinations across Namibia, including Ondangwa, Rundu, Katima Mulilo, Oranjemund, Lüderitz and Walvis Bay. It also flies regionally to Cape Town and has expanded to routes such as Maun and Victoria Falls.

South African airline Airlink holds a 40% equity stake in FlyNamibia. This partnership provides codeshare and interline connectivity, allowing passengers to link more easily with international networks.

The carrier focuses on reliable, convenient air travel that supports tourism, business and regional connectivity within Namibia and neighbouring countries. It continues to develop its network and improve booking access through global distribution systems.

Headquartered at Eros Airport on Aviation Road in Windhoek, FlyNamibia positions itself as a home-grown airline committed to serving Namibia’s aviation needs with a growing fleet of regional jets and turboprops.
