Team Namibia

Team Namibia is a member-based non-profit movement established in 2003 to promote the consumption of locally produced goods and services. Founded through the collaboration of the Namibian Manufacturers Association and the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the organisation mobilises Namibian consumers and businesses to support local industry and strengthen the national economy.

The core mission of Team Namibia is to encourage citizens to “Buy Local” and to drive the production of quality Namibian products and services. By fostering a culture of local preference, the movement aims to create jobs, support local manufacturers and reduce reliance on imported goods.

Team Namibia provides its members with valuable benefits, including brand association, advocacy support, social media and digital marketing exposure, and inclusion in the official Team Namibia directory. These services help local businesses gain visibility and credibility among conscious consumers.

The organisation operates under the powerful slogan “Together our future is brighter!”, which reflects its belief in collective action and shared prosperity.
