MTC

Make the connection

MTC (Mobile Telecommunications Limited) is Namibia’s largest and first mobile telecommunications company, established in 1994/1995. It serves over two million active subscribers and plays a central role in connecting people, businesses, and communities across the country through mobile voice, data, and digital services.

The company offers a full range of mobile services, including prepaid and postpaid voice and data packages, mobile internet, corporate solutions, and value-added digital services. It also operates physical stores, a repair shop, and an extensive retail network to support customers nationwide.

MTC focuses on delivering reliable network coverage and innovative products tailored to different customer segments — from individual consumers to large enterprises. It invests heavily in infrastructure to expand connectivity, particularly in underserved and rural areas, supporting Namibia’s broader digital transformation goals.

In addition to core mobile services, MTC provides enterprise solutions, mobile financial services, and partnerships that drive digital inclusion. The company emphasises customer experience through dedicated support channels, self-service options, and continuous network improvements.

MTC operates as a customer-driven organisation that adapts its offerings to meet evolving market needs. It combines traditional telecommunications with modern digital solutions, helping Namibians access education, commerce, healthcare, and social connectivity more effectively.

As the leading mobile operator, MTC contributes significantly to Namibia’s economic and social development by bridging the digital divide, creating jobs, and enabling innovation across sectors.
