ABOUT US
Namib Poultry Industries (Pty) Ltd is a proudly Namibian company, which started its operations in November 2011. The plant is situated on the Klein Okapuka Farm, about 30 kilometers outside of Windhoek. Operations consist of a breeding section made up of three rearing sites and six laying sites, a hatchery, seven broiler sites with five houses each and an abattoir, totaling more than 110 000m2. Our six strategically placed depots across Namibia enable us to meet our customers’ needs and are located in Windhoek, Katima Mulilo, Otavi, Ondangwa, Keetmanshoop and Walvis Bay.

With 5 routes of distribution nationwide, we ensure that our depots in Keetmanshoop, Otavi, Ondangwa, Katima Mulilo and Walvis Bay, supply you with only the freshest Namibian chicken. Our distribution channel ensures that our products are assessable to our consumers. With delivery every 48 hours, we ensure that only the freshest Namibian chicken reaches you through our numerous registered outlets.

Mass-producing fresh quality chicken requires great financial maintenance. Our prices reflect the capital input that goes into the production process. - Chicken manure is used to produce fertilizer for a greener ecosystem, while feathers and other leftovers are used in the production of pet food.

A true first for Namibia, Nam Chicken is really fresh! Until recently, most of Namibia’s fresh chicken was imported, and even when advertised as ‘fresh chicken’ it took a number of days to get to your table. Nam Chicken is different, because the farm is in Namibia. The time it takes for the chicken to get to you is much shorter, so when we say it’s fresh, you can be sure, it’s truly fresh.
