Practical Outsourcing Solutions is a Namibian-owned consulting firm established in 2002 and based in Windhoek. It specialises in the outsourcing of human resources, payroll and related business services to small, medium and large enterprises, as well as international organisations operating in Namibia. The firm was founded by Sidney Hanstein, who continues as Managing Principal.

Core offerings centre on people-related functions. These include full or partial HR departmental outsourcing, recruitment and selection (including psychometric assessments and brain profiling), job description development, Paterson job evaluation and grading, remuneration structuring, performance management, labour relations support (disciplinary processes, dispute resolution and hearings), and training facilitation. Payroll outsourcing covers calculations, reconciliations, PAYE submissions, compliance reviews and related administration.

The firm also handles statutory compliance work such as affirmative action reporting, social security and vocational education and training requirements, policy development and HR audits. Immigration services form another key line, assisting with work visas, work permits, renewals, transit visas and related clearances for organisations recruiting foreign skills or individuals relocating to Namibia.

Additional support can extend to assisting with office space and infrastructure, employee transport and accommodation arrangements, and other practical operational needs. Clients have included organisations in ICT, education, mining, hospitality, construction, architecture, government and parastatals. Operations have been based in Windhoek since inception (addresses referenced over time include Liliencron Street and later Dr Kwame Nkrumah Avenue / Bridgeview Offices).
