Signa Aviation Services

Empowering Africa's skies with world-class aviation training

Signa Aviation Services is Namibia’s leading Aviation Training Organisation (ATO) and one of the premier flight schools in Africa. Based at Eros Airport in Windhoek, the company specialises in professional aviation training for pilots, cabin crew, and aircraft maintenance engineers. It is approved by the Namibian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and holds foreign training approvals in several African countries.

The company offers a comprehensive range of training programmes, from Private Pilot Licence (PPL) through to advanced type ratings on single-engine, multi-engine piston, turbine, and jet aircraft. Signa also provides cabin crew training and is expanding into drone pilot training. Their modern facilities and experienced instructors support both ab-initio students and experienced pilots seeking ratings or recurrent training.

Signa Aviation Services trains students from across the African continent, including Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, Angola, Mozambique, Mali, and Senegal. The school emphasises high professional standards, safety culture, and practical flying experience, preparing graduates for careers with airlines, charter companies, and other aviation operators.

In addition to pilot training, Signa acts as the Namibian distributor and agent for Sling Aircraft. The company also offers aviation consultancy services and professional pilot services, making it a full-service aviation training and support provider in the region.

Signa Aviation operates with a strong focus on quality and international alignment. Their programmes are designed to meet or exceed regulatory requirements, and the school maintains a fleet of training aircraft suitable for various stages of pilot development, from basic flight training to advanced multi-crew and jet operations.

As a proudly Namibian company with over two decades of operation, Signa Aviation Services plays a key role in developing skilled aviation professionals for Namibia and the broader African aviation industry. The company continues to grow its reputation as a centre of excellence for aviation training on the continent.
