Renaissance Health Medical Aid Fund

Your Health Comes First

Renaissance Health Medical Aid Fund (RMA) is a proudly Namibian medical aid fund established in 1994 shortly after independence. It was created to provide high-quality, accessible healthcare solutions designed by Namibians, for Namibians, as a local alternative to South African-dominated providers.

RMA offers a range of tiered medical aid plans tailored to different life stages and income levels. These include Premiere Care (entry-level), Evolve Care, Esteem Care, Caliber Care (most popular), Status Care, and Prestige Care (top comprehensive option), each with varying annual limits, hospital benefits, and day-to-day coverage.

Beyond core hospital and day-to-day benefits, RMA provides innovative features such as the Benefit Wallet (which rolls over unused benefits), Benefit Builder (allowing members to customise and add benefits), Chroniline Wellness (chronic disease management), maternity programmes, and lifestyle/wellness rewards for preventive care and healthy living.

The fund emphasises member-centricity with personalised service, strong relationships with healthcare providers, and a focus on financial stability and governance. It consistently exceeds regulatory requirements for reserves and is recognised for operational excellence and innovation in the Namibian healthcare sector.

RMA supports members through chronic condition management, preventive wellness initiatives, and flexible options that grow with individual and family needs. It also partners with various providers to ensure broad access to quality care across Namibia.

As a grassroots, Namibian-governed fund with over 30 years of service, RMA remains committed to putting members’ health first while promoting accessible, sustainable, and innovative healthcare solutions for the entire nation.
