In 2003, a small group of like-minded enthusiasts realised a dream, of taking Namibian insurance to another level, by challenging the industry norm. Since that day, the Hollard Namibia team has grown substantially, not only in size, but also in our capacity for knowledge and passion that would change the face of the local insurance industry forever.
Namibia is a vast, beautiful country, only matched by the beauty of its people. We at Hollard know that by understanding the uniqueness of its people we can make the biggest difference where it would matter the most! Humility and sincerity are two of the core elements of why we do what we do, putting emphasis on the fact that we are a company built on morals and (sometimes quirky, but always genuine) ethics.
Our goal is to not merely be successful as a company, but to always remember that our success should match our never ending resolve in always finding the best ways and means to stand by the people who matter the most. We are a company built on Namibian soil, by Namibian people, for Namibian people!
Hollard’s purpose is to enable more people to create and secure a better future, it’s at the core of who we proudly are. That is why today stands for more than mere milestones reached, difficulties overcome and perseverance shown, today is our 15th birthday, 15 years of standing firmly behind what we believe and never straying from our mandate.
Hollard Namibia has grown from simply hoping to make a difference, to being Namibia’s largest privately owned insurance group, with a handful of enthusiasts becoming 164 dedicated team members who understand that a “can do” attitude goes a long way.
From having a handful of products available to the market, Hollard Namibia now offers one of the most diverse business profiles in Namibia, with 279 000 policies that continues to grow day by day. Recently we introduced Namibia to new products such as Hollard MotorXtender, as well as the much anticipated Hollard Tourism, all of which have been designed to stand by our motto of valuing our people and clients as our most valuable assets, by offering them the peace of mind that they would need to dream fearlessly, without the worry of what tomorrow might bring.
From one solitary dot on the vast Namibian map, we have painted the country purple with seven branches all across Namibia. The branches are located at Rundu, Tsumeb, Oshakati, Otjiwarongo, Walvis Bay, Mariental, Keetmanshoop and our head office here in Windhoek.
Today might be our special day, but we choose to celebrate you, the Namibian people, for believing in us and giving us the opportunity to grow from strength to strength every day. We will continue to push the boundaries of our industry, always looking for new ways to ensure better futures for each and every Namibian.
